Wexel Gaming proudly secures first international partnership with South Africa’s Goldrush Group

In a significant move, Wexel Gaming is immensely proud to announce its partnership with the prestigious Goldrush Group. A 2-year exclusive agreement will see the roll-out of its pioneering linked bingo system, BingoPlus to 35 venues across six provinces in South Africa. The Goldrush Group are the largest licenced Bingo operator in South Africa.

Such a collaboration stands as a testament to Wexel Gaming’s commitment to delivering innovative, forward-thinking, and proactive gaming solutions, with the ability to uniquely tailor to diverse markets.

This development is a landmark achievement for both firms. Wexel Gaming has carefully developed a bespoke adaptation of BingoPlus, incorporating a ticket-on-demand solution to cater to the South African gaming environment.

At launch, Bingo Plus will link 35 sites across South Africa. Its flexibility means that all regulatory requirements are met, enabling individual and group auditing of sites. One of the sites will “call” the games, and in the future, the system has the flexibility to enable the games to be delivered by a live caller, just as Bingo Plus is being delivered across the UK today.

Sean Young, CEO of Wexel Gaming, shared his excitement, noting, “Our evolution from a traditional retail-only bingo outlet to pioneering an omni-channel bingo experience, complete with the ability to offer live hosting and interactive chat, has significantly broadened our global appeal. Adapting our offer for international audiences has always been part of our vision for Bingo Plus. And today, I am delighted to announce South Africa as our first international venture, in partnership with the Goldrush Gaming Group.”

Sean also extended thanks to his Development team for their tireless dedication and adaptability, noting their pivotal role in making the transition to the highly controlled and regulated South African market, with its unique regulatory nuances, appear straightforward. He added, “Given our operational team’s wealth of experience in wide-ranging roll-outs, we’re perfectly positioned to seamlessly integrate our product within the Goldrush Group bingo network.”

Allan Scott, Business Development Director at Goldrush Group, shed light on the decision to align with Wexel Gaming. He praised their ability to craft a flexible, bespoke, cloud-based system that seamlessly aligns with the varying Provincial regulations, whilst maintaining a superb user experience, whilst only operational currently with Class 2 electronic bingo, we look forward to introducing BingoPlus and offering our customers a new and exciting alternative bingo experience. BingoPlus has the flexibility not only to provide a retail solution now, but to deliver a real omni-channel solution in the future.

Allan remarked, “Having witnessed the impressive growth of the BingoPlus network in the UK and the online opportunity delivered by www.playbingoplus.com, it soon became apparent that Wexel Gaming stood out as our partner of choice. Both our firms have longstanding histories within the bingo sector, and it’s thrilling to look ahead at a shared, successful future.”

In summary, this partnership epitomises the shared vision of both Wexel Gaming and Goldrush Group: to set new standards in delivering unparalleled, future-fit gaming experiences. It’s a mutual step forward, championed by innovation, adaptability, and a shared spirit of excellence.
